Jaco Pastorius-The Chicken Guitar Tab, guitar tabs, bass tabs, chords and guitar pro tabs. The tune gained greater exposure with versions by jazz bassist Jaco Pastorius. Since every chord in the song are (What do you call a major chord with a minor seventh?) chords, you can't really say that the song is in Bb mixolydian (Eb major) since the natural chords of the scale areįm7 (In sweden we mostly write Fm7 instead of F-7)Īnd in the song there is an Eb7, a D7, a G7 and a C7, which all "breaks" the Bb mixolydian scale.
